Case · Defense tech

OM Defence Systems: the site worked; underneath, every class was called div-block-104.

OM Defence Systems makes counter-UAS technology: autonomous interceptors that detect, track and neutralise hostile drones, and field support systems for infantry, built by engineers with experience in Ukraine and Europe. The site looked fine. Underneath, it was technical debt that always comes due. We rebuilt it into a system a serious buyer can trust, without changing what the buyer sees.

The project

Task, approach, what went live

The task

The audience is military and institutional buyers. The site had to read as authoritative and stay maintainable for years, not until the next edit broke a modal.

Nothing visible was supposed to get worse while everything underneath was replaced.

The approach

We renamed close to three hundred classes into a consistent system, corrected product renders, and fixed modals that had been wired to the wrong pages.

A full SEO pass went across the pages, with a CMS behind the newsroom and careers so the team publishes without touching layout. The design stayed authoritative and plain: a demo request on every screen, products explained by what they do.

What went live

A rebuilt Webflow site with a consistent class system, corrected renders and modals, SEO across the pages, and a CMS for news and careers, edited by the client. Domain and hosting in the client’s name.

What the site does

Seen on the live site, September 2026

  • Reads as serious

Plain structure, products by purpose, a demo as the next step.

  • Maintainable

A class system anyone can read, not div-block-104.

  • Publishes without a developer

Newsroom and careers in a CMS.

  • Findable

Titles, structure and structured data across the pages.

“We came with our own Figma design and needed it built on Webflow precisely, page by page. HeadPills delivered it to the design and fixed what we flagged. The site is live and our team maintains it themselves.”

Questions

Facts about the OM Defence Systems project

What did HeadPills change on the OM Defence Systems site?

Everything underneath and almost nothing visible: close to three hundred classes renamed into a system, renders and modals corrected, SEO across the pages, and a CMS behind news and careers.

Why rebuild a site that already worked?

Because technical debt comes due. Unnamed classes and mis-wired modals break on the next edit; a consistent system lets the team publish and change things for years.

What platform is OM Defence Systems built on?

Webflow, with the newsroom and careers in collections the team edits without a developer.
